Hawzah News Agency- According to a report by Iran's cultural attaché in Indonesia, the spiritual event will take place on Thursday, April 9, at the Imam Khomeini Husayniyya in Central Jakarta. The ceremony is expected to draw Iranian expatriates residing in Indonesia as well as local admirers of the late Imam.
The program is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM local time and will feature recitations of the Holy Quran, collective supplications, elegy performances, and speeches highlighting the enduring legacy of Imam Khamenei and the significance of resistance against oppression.
The event will also honor the memory of those who fell during the Ramadan War and express solidarity with the young victims of the recent terrorist attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, Hormozgan province.
The Imam Khomeini Husayniyya is located at Jl. Tulung Agung No. 3, Menteng area, Jakarta. Organizers have invited all Iranians and friends of the Islamic Revolution in Indonesia to attend the commemorative gathering.
The 40th-day memorial, known in Islamic tradition as Arbaeen, holds special significance as a time for reflection on the spiritual and political legacy of Imam Khamenei. The ceremony in Jakarta underscores the continued reverence for the late leader among Iranians abroad and Indonesia's Muslim community.
